The End Is Nigh - Dead Frog Releases Udder Domination Imperial Milk Stout

Aldergrove, BC — Dead Frog's brand new limited edition seasonal, the Udder Domination Imperial Milk Stout, is now available in BC and Alberta.

The Udder Domination is Dead Frog's head brewer Steve Black's follow-up to the award winning Nutty Uncle Peanut Butter Stout.  "I love milk stouts, I love strong beers, and I love pushing style boundaries," says Steve.  "I've wanted to brew a milk stout for a long time, and making an Imperial version lets us amp up the roasted malt flavours and creaminess."

The brew is a roasted, creamy, and bovine Imperial Milk Stout that offers a unique spin on an established style.  The Udder Domination combines flavours of dark chocolate, cappuccino, and roasted nuts with a slightly sweet, creamy finish.  All of this is perfectly balanced with slightly sweet and warm flavours from the 8% ABV.

The Udder Domination is a single batch brew.  It's available now in select liquor stores in BC and Alberta, in 650mL single bottles, for a limited time only.
Unpasteurized, preservative-free, and small batch brewed, Dead Frog beer is also available on draught in select pubs, restaurants, and for growler fills at the brewery. Follow us on Twitter @DeadFrogBrewery for announcements on availability.

Central City Jumps into the Radler Category Introducing
Hopping Mad Cider Radler & Red Racer Beer Radler

Surrey, BC – Central City Brewers + Distillers is getting ready for summer by launching two refreshing Radlers: Red Racer Radler and Hopping Mad Cider Radler -- Canada’s first Cider Radler.
Being passionate about all things cycling (Radler is German for “cyclists”), Central City’s Red Racer Radler is created in the German tradition of mixing beer and juice for refreshing drink designed for cyclists. Using a light blonde ale as a beer base, it’s balanced with ruby red grapefruit juice and lemon juice. The result is a blend of refreshing malt flavour with a balance of grapefruit notes and slight acidity.
The Hopping Mad Cider Radler is a completely new style, the first ever Cider Radler released in Canada, using an off-dry premium apple cider and grapefruit juice to give a balance of tart and sweet notes, and a gluten free twist that’s perfect for summer.
“The Radler is the perfect patio drink when the weather is warm or to replace that boring Mimosa during a weekend brunch,” says Gary Lohin, Brewmaster at Central City Brewers + Distillers. “Our Red Racer Radler is a refreshing lightly flavoured craft beer blended with ruby red grapefruit juice, resulting in a low alcohol beer with balanced acidity and citrus flavour. While our Hopping Mad Cider Radler is a premium cider infused with Florida grapefruit juice producing a nicely balanced, and slightly tart refreshing drink. Perfect for those who are looking for something a little different for summer.”
Central City will be hosting a Radler launch event on Wednesday, March 23rd at the Tap & Barrel Convention Centre (Barrel Room) in Vancouver from 6:30 p.m. to closing.
The Red Racer Radler (3.5% ABV, IBU 16) and the Hopping Mad Cider Radler (4.2% ABV) are available in 473ml cans in liquor stores in BC, Alberta and Ontario as well as on draught in late March.

March 16, 2015 (Chilliwack, BC) With over 15 years of craft brewing success (including Canadian Brewing “Beer of Year” win for Sasquatch Stout in 2014), Chilliwack based craft beer company Old Yale Brewing continues to innovate new products to meet the growing consumer demand for great tasting, unique craft beer.

New Product Launching Today, Old Yale Brewing announced the launch of a new seasonal beer. Yeti White Stout will join their award-winning TALL TALE Series lineup. After their 2014 win of Best Beer in Canada at the Canadian Brewing Awards, it’s no surprise that Old Yale is pushing the limits on a new and exciting beer style.

Old Yale positions the Yeti as “Sasquatch’s frozen cousin” in the brew’s unique TALL TALE, which can be found on the label. The Yeti is a full-bodied white stout that will not only deceive your eyes, but also your taste buds with its dark chocolate, coffee & vanilla flavour and its creamy finish.

“After our Sasquatch Stout won Canada’s Best Beer for 2014, we knew we had to take our ability to brew great tasting stout to a whole new level. We can’t wait to see how the industry reacts to this unique, hard to brew, premium craft beer.” stated Zach VanLeeuwen, Operations Manager for Old Yale Brewing.

The Brewery’s TALL TALE Series celebrates the mythical characters that might find their way into spooky campfire tales, including Canada’s 2014 Best Beer, the Sasquatch Stout, the unique Screaming Banshee Irish Cream Stout, Vanishing Monk Belgian Witbier, and the most-recent Devilfish Single Malt & Single Hop IPA. Dark and haunting illustrations capture the essence of each “tall tale”, with stories about the mythical characters on each label. The new beer’s label was designed by Subplot Design Inc., and features an illustration done by a local Vancouver artist that was created to bring the beer’s unique TALL TALE story to life.

The Yeti White Stout will be available for order in bomber bottles and kegs, and will be sold in retail stores and at Old Yale Brewing later this month.
