With the temperature on the rise sometimes you just need a nice cold glass of water to quench your thirst! We proudly serve
Q Water in our restaurant. This sustainable water system helps eliminate packaging and transportation of traditional bottled water.

Q Water is a high quality water filtration system that uses local water as its source. We filter and chill the water to produce still and sparkling water as needed to ensure the freshest and purest taste possible in the most environmentally friendly way.

Want to feel even better about ordering a water at CRAFT? $1 from each Q Water sold goes to support Ocean Wise. Now we'll raise a pint, of water that is, to that!

Check out our
CRAFT Cares page for more info on our ongoing sustainability and charity initiatives.   (return to top)

McClelland Premium Imports (MPI) was founded in 2003 with the mission of bringing Europe's finest, most authentic beers to Canada. We have become great friends with MPI owner, Guy McClelland, and the whole team.

In 2007 Guy was knighted by the Confederation of Belgian Brewers Association and officially became a
Beer Knight. He is one of only 4 Canadians to receive this honour. Some of the perks include membership in this elite fraternity and a medal that entitles you to drink for FREE anywhere in Belgium! If you are the winner of this year's trip for 2 to Belgium you will be able to enjoy some of the unique access that Guy has to some of the oldest breweries and traditions in Belgium.

Some of the great beers that they import to Canada that you can find on tap at CRAFT include - Mort Subite, Affligem, Mongozo, Stiegl and Stiegl Radler, Delirium Tremens, Erdinger Dunkel and Erdinger Weiss.

Thursday, August 4th, join beer enthusiasts, breweries and CRAFT in raising a collective toast to one of craft beer’s most iconic styles: the India Pale Ale. Founded in 2011, IPA Day is a Global movement created to unite the voices of craft beer enthusiasts, bloggers and brewers worldwide.

How was the IPA invented?
The story goes that while the  British were trying to colonize India the beer they sent their troops failed to endure the sea voyage all the way around the cape of Africa. Extreme temperatures and prolonged storage without the benefits of refrigeration were less than ideal conditions for transporting beer. As a result, it kept spoiling on the trip.

The British had two tools to work with: alcohol and hops. Both of these work as preservatives. According to legend, it was George Hodgson of East London’s Bow Brewery who eventually created the first IPA. It was bitter and highly alcoholic, but it endured the long ocean trip.

Cheers to the mighty hop!
