bc craft beer month

BC Craft Brewers Guild's Latest Collaboration from Driftwood Brewing and Persephone Brewing "King Tide Saison"
We are pleased to start BC Craft Beer Month a little early this year as we announce our 5th collaboration.

The Earth, Sun and Moon have aligned to deliver this delicious collaboration! Persephone and Driftwood have joined forces to create this strong, effervescent Saison. Notes of tropical fruit abound from the warm fermentation required by the use of the famous Brasserie Dupont yeast. King Tide Saison will be available at select private liquor stores across the province as of September 26.

Ken Beattie, Executive Director, BC Craft Brewers Guild:  “The BC Craft Brewers Guild is stoked to be kick starting BC Craft Beer Month off a little early with our 5th collaboration from Driftwood Brewing and Persephone Brewing; King Tide Saison. This collaborative farmhouse ale embodies the collaboration and sense of community at the heart of our provincial craft beer community – these two coastal breweries have come together in fine style to produce something worthy to start the celebration.”

Dion Whyte, Persephone General Manager:  “We’re pumped to be collaborating with Driftwood Brewing and the BC Craft Brewers Guild on this release! We’ve always loved Driftwood’s beers and their willingness to share their experience with other craft breweries like ourselves and support the industry. We had loads of fun on this project - big thanks to Jason, Gary and the team!”

Gary Lindsay, Driftwood General Manager:  “These collaborative efforts illustrate the heart of the craft beer industry‎ very well. Hard work, innovation and community involvement are a huge part of who we are – collectively we are a very strong & vibrant industry. Driftwood is thrilled to work with the like-minded and highly talented team at Persephone to lay down an amazing brew to support the Craft Brewers Guild of BC!”
