new releases

not so timely, but here, here are some new releases!

Skull and Wing, the first of our new Barrel Aged Series, while sharing a common root, are executed with deliciously different results.

Keeping with Ravens Brewing Company’s mandate of tying innovation and tradition together we have come up with two new releases on Friday October 28. Skull and Wing, the first of our new Barrel Aged Series, while sharing a common root, are executed with deliciously different results.

Using our award winning Farmers Ale French Saison as a starting point, it was aged for 4 months, in Merlot (Skull) and in Chardonnay (Wing) barrels. Time imparted flavours from the barrels into the beer that was further enhanced with the addition of cassis and peach.

Barrel Aged Cassis Saison

Aged in Merlot barrels with Fraser Valley Blackcurrants, this limited version of our Farmers Ale French Saison is a truly unique experience. A blend of dark fruit, oak, and berry notes with lemon, hay, and wheat, this slightly tart interpretation is a deep journey of flavours.

Barrel Aged Peach Saison

Aged in Chardonnay barrels with sun ripped peaches, this limited version of our Farmers Ale French Saison is a truly unique experience. A blend of oak, stone fruit, and buttery notes with lemon, hay, and wheat, this interpretation is as refreshing as it is intriguing.

NEW BEER NEWS:  October 26, 2016

East Van, BC- Our new American Pale Ale, "Dude Chilling" is a celebration of creating and naming your own piece of nature. After thousands of Vancouver residents basically told their municipal government to chill out, a city park now permanently sports a sign that reads: “Dude Chilling Park.”

Dude Chilling Pale Ale is dry hopped with Citra, Galaxy and Centennial hops.  A beautifully balanced, drinkable medium bodied go-to beer for those who crave hops. One of our new faves that easily pairs with all styles of simple or exotic foods, tapas and cheeses.

Rod Hughes, head brewer, who designed the beer says "It is a drinkable go-to beer for people who love sessionable ales and hops. It was a recipe that I had been working on, and I felt with the opening of the Ale and Pizza house, it was a great time to bring it to our lineup of core brews."

Beer Stats:
ABV: 5.2  IBU:40   SRM: 4  STYLE: American Pale Ale
