Vancouver Island's Gladstone Brewing Co. makes its Vancouver Debut VANCOUVER, BC – After six months of serving up West-Coast and Belgian-inspired brews to Vancouver Island's Comox Valley, Gladstone Brewing Co. is headed to Vancouver for the first time to showcase its award winning beer with a tap takeover at Commercial Drive's Tangent Cafe on Wednesday August 26, 6pm. Gladstone Brewing Co. is one of Vancouver Island's newest breweries and is headed up by owner Daniel Sharratt and head brewer John Adair (formerly of Parallel 49 Brewing). Adair's Porter recently took home bronze at the Canadian Brewing Awards. The tap takeover at Tangent Cafe will include six Gladstone beers: Belgian Single, North American Porter, West Coast IPA, Pilsener, and two new, yet-to-be released seasonals – a Saison and a Kettle Sour.
