booze at farmers' markets

looks like camra bc's dream to have beer available at farmers' markets will become a reality. from camra vancouver president, adam chatburn: Premier Clark today announced that Farmers Markets will be permitted to sell locally produced craft beer and wine, something that CAMRA BC has been advocating all year. This is a tremendous step forward for BC and shows that the liquor review has listened to the people. I would like to express my gratitude to the hundreds of people who joined in our Farmers Market campaign and signed letters, this is your victory and a victory for a common sense approach to alcohol sales. Let's hope we see more positive changes like this in the new year!" camra bc approves of liquor law changes

CAMRA Welcomes Positive Changes for BC Craft Beer Posted on February 12, 2013 by Mark Vancouver, BC – The Campaign for Real Ale Society of British Columbia welcomed the revisions to the province’s liquor laws announced by Minister Rich Coleman on Friday. CAMRA BC hopes to see other privileges afforded wine, like BYOB and the relaxing of inter-provincial trade restrictions, extended to craft beer. “We also had concerns regarding the relaxing of tied-house regulations and submitted these to the government during the comment period”, said CAMRA BC President, Rick...
