Parallel 49 Brewing Co. Vow of Silence - $8.15

A bit Belgium straight out of Vancouver thanks to the folks at Parallel 49 Brewing, this hazy ruby red Belgian strong ale is full of ripe pear, cloves, caramel and Belgian yeast in its aroma. Meanwhile fruitcake, nuts, spice, more Belgian yeast and dark fruits play on the palate. Medium bodied, with warming alcohol to balance it all out, makes this brew an excellent alternative to buying a flight to Belgium.

Phillips Brewing Co. Twisted Oak Stillage Barrel-Aged Rauch - $7.05

Another gem from the Phillips Twisted Oak Stillage series, utilizing cherrywood and applewood smoked malt.
