The fifth annual beer festival
dedicated exclusively to hoppy
beers is back and better than ever.
Over 30 of BC's finest craft
breweries will be on-hand to
transform the Backyard at Phillips
Brewing Co. into hoppy beer heaven.

Tickets for the June 13th event are
on sale now at Phillips brewery, or

Tickets are $20 and include the first
two tasters; additional tasters can be
purchased on-site for $1.50 each. 
Taco Justice will be also on-hand
serving festival-goers some of the
best local tacos around.

 Vancouver Craft Beer Week Just a Few Weeks Away,

Lumberjack themed week calls for beer lovers to break out their plaid and snatch up remaining tickets

Vancouver, BC – May 5th, 2015 –The sixth annual Vancouver Craft Beer Week is kicking off on May 29th 2015 and going until June 7th 2015. Tickets are still on sale for several of the week’s highly anticipated events, including the first annual Vancouver Magazine International Craft Beer Awards Gala presented by CRAFT Beer Market on May 29th 2015 at the Roundhouse Community Centre.

Beer lovers can still get their hands on several of the sixteen craft beer focused events, including: 
  • What the Hop? Beer Trivia! guests can test their beer knowledge with other craft beer enthusiasts.
  • The VCBW signature Battle of the Bartenders: Beer Cocktail Competition V, where eight of Vancouver’s top bartenders will square off at The Blackbird Public House & Oyster Bar, using only bar tools and creativity to create the perfect beer cocktail. 
  • Rookies & Legends: A gathering of 24 principals from the BC Brewers Guild in a night filled with beer, food and good times. The event also serves as a fundraiser for the BC Brewers Guild.
Tickets are available for other Vancouver Craft Beer Week events including the Biercraft Belgian Showcase, Forbidden Fruit, Cicerone vs. Sommelier, the Rose City Rampage and Brothers in Hops. In addition, Canada’s largest craft only beer festival will be closing down the week on June 6th & 7th.

VCBW’s official beer for 2015 is “Campfire Kolsch”, a collaboration beer brewed by 30 B.C. breweries at Red Truck Beer Co’s new brewery located in the historical Brewery Creek district, with proceeds going to their official charity, The Vancouver Firefighters Charitable Society.
