Pike Harlot's Harvest Pumpkin Ale
This brew is a big, bold and voluptuous fall favorite bursting with roasty caramel malt, spices and, of course, pumpkin. Dark and full, Pike Harlot's Harvest Pumpkin Ale resembles a Belgian Double and will warm you up as the nights get longer. Pike Harlot's Harvest reminds us that Pike Brewing was founded in Seattle's LaSalle Hotel, a former brothel run by Madam Nellie Curtis.

MALT VARIETIES: Organic Pale, Maris Otter, Organic Pils, Vienna, Belgian Caramel, Crystal, Chocolate Malt

HOP VARIETIES: Mt Hood, Nugget

FRUIT AND SPICES: Organic pumpkin, Cassia bark, Spices and Vanilla

IBU: 30
ABV: 8.50%

The leaves are starting to change colour, the nights are getting colder and pumpkin beers are hitting the shelves, fall must be around the corner. Rather than lament the end of summer, Steamworks is embracing 'soup season' with the return of their fan-favourite Pumpkin Ale.

Steamworks' Pumpkin Ale is brewed with over 100lbs of freshly harvested local pumpkins. Spices like cinnamon and nutmeg are added directly to the hopback to give this beautifully balanced ale nuances of home-made pumpkin pie. This fall classic brew pours golden orange and offers a comforting balance of spice, malt and sweetness.

This vegetable based brew is available mid-September everywhere you buy craft beer in a 650ml bottle adorned with its classic spooktacular artwork as well as on tap at the Steamworks brewery & taproom in Burnaby, brewpub in Gastown and other bars and restaurants throughout BC.
