We are very pleased to announce that Beerthirst has been appointed British Columbia Agents of ROGUE beers with immediate effect. Based in Newport, ROGUE produces a wide range of critically acclaimed craft beers and spirits, packaged in some of the best branded bottles on the market.
Beerthirst will be re-launching the brand in BC with a very strategic marketing and promotions plan. Expect to receive an immense amount of support from us in the form of staff training, in-store tastings, signage, social media, events, and promotional campaigns as we work with you to maximize our collective success with ROGUE products. In addition, we have submitted price reductions on the products (packaged and kegs) in order to position it appropriately amongst your other quality brands. We expect to receive our first shipment late in July, and we will communicate product availability as soon as it becomes order-able. Expect lots of options at great prices! This is not news to anyone. But have you ruminated on just how large the gender gap is?  A 2018 survey by Nielsen-Harris  found American craft beer drinkers are 68.5 per cent male and 31.5 per cent female. Closer to home,  BeerMeBC’s 2018 survey  had those numbers at 71 and 29 per cent, with 0.32 per cent identifying as “other.” For those not so strong in the math department, that means that there are only three women drinking craft beer for every seven men. If you were a straight man looking for a date, you wouldn’t like those odds at all.
