Reminder that tomorrow, Red Truck Beer are holding their "Truck Drop" Ground Breaking Event. They are going to be breaking ground on their new brewery but instead of a ribbon cutting they're dropping a truck from the sky! Beer, food trucks, live DJ, social media contests and prizes! Check it out here!

This Sandwich, That Beer is a blog dedicated to sampling the best sandwiches Vancouver has to offer and pairing them with choice craft beers. Upon entry, you will receive sandwich and beer tickets, along with a ballot for the chance to decide who has the tastiest sandwich/beer pairing. Participants include El Camino's, Street Meet, Woodland Smokehouse, Cartems & Earnest Ice Cream, and Portland Craft; with more contestants to be announced. Home Brew Competition: Entry Deadline
Vanbrewers, in conjunction with the BC Beer Awards, will be hosting a Harvest/Oktoberfest Home Brew Competition. If you have a home brewed beer that is focused on fresh hops, fall flavours or festbiere, we will be accepting entries until October 5, 2012. Winners will be announced at the BC Beer Awards on October 13, 2012. The 1st place entry will be invited to brew their beer at Brassneck Brewing, and will hopefully have their beer available at the 2013 BC Beer Awards. The 3rd Annual BC Beer Awards and CAMRA's Harvest Cask Festival, celebrating only the very best of locally-produced craft beer, is set to return to Vancouver. Tickets are only $35.00 (including taster glass and 4 drink tokens). They are down to their last few available...
The organizers are also pleased to announce that the designated charity of choice will be the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society. The Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society provides food for nearly 27,000 people weekly through 15 food depots and over 100 community agency partners. A table will be set up at the front door of Chapel Arts on day of the event, and all attendees are asked to bring non-perishable food donations or a cash contribution to this important society. Everyone's help is greatly appreciated.

The Harrison Beer Festival, the first major beer-tasting festival in the upper Fraser Valley, will bring breweries from around BC to the shores of Harrison Lake.
