Library Square and Parallel 49 Brewing Company celebrate 12 Taps of Christmas Celebrate craft beer, Advent-style starting December 1st Beer Advent Calendars are craft beer’s contribution to seasonal traditions, and this year Library Square and Parallel 49 Brewing Company are teaming up to offer the “ 12 Taps of Christmas ”, an opportunity to celebrate Advent-style, even if you weren’t one of the lucky beer fans who was able to snag a limited release calendars. Parallel 49 Brewing Company has contributed 12 beers to this year’s collaboration “Craft Crossing” beer Advent calendar and every odd day in December, starting on the 1st, Library Square will be tapping a keg of the exact same Parallel 49 beer which is in the Advent Calendar on that day. The keg will be tapped each morning at 11:30AM and will be poured all day for the feature price of $5/pint. stone brewing is once again available in canada ! hooray! i attended the tap takeover launch at craft beer market on monday and i will be attending the tap takeover at stateside craft on friday unfortunately my life does have other things in it besides beer, so i am missing out on the collaboration brew day at bomber brewing (tuesday), the pairing dinner at blackbird (wednesday) and the biercraft beer dinner (thursday) half of the beer menu at craft beer market   paddle and a 0.45l pour in pretty branded glass

Stateside Tap Takeover Thursday Sept 11th! We're at Stateside with Ninkasi Brewing and Gigantic Brewing Company pouring 7, that's right SEVEN beers from EACH brewery. It's going to be amazing. Gigantic will be featuring Pipewrench, their gin-barrel aged IPA, an 8-wired Collaboration, and a Jenever Pale in addition to their seaonsal and regular line up. Ninkasi will be featuring Critical Hit, Jarrylo Single Hop beer, Imperiale, Vanilla Oatis and few others.

i think the elysian brewing tap take over at st. augustine's on monday was the largest i have been to 25 taps of elysian were available (out of the 60 taps at st. a's) so big in fact that st. a's kept running out of taster glasses because everyone was ordering paddles in a vain attempt to try all of the offerings the place was packed and kudos must go to the servers who were run off their feet trying to get us all our beers i made it through eight tasters (and a lobster sandwich) before i tapped out first paddle contained: woo-tang kettle sour mortis persimmon sour ale barrel aged savant ipa zombo experimental ipa second paddle contained: barrel aged loser pale ale cowabunga ipa bombo experimental pale ale huy five pale ale as usual, i didn't take very good notes but here they are regardless and please note that i really quite liked all eight of my beer choices, despite how my notes may sound: woo-tang kettle sour:  yup, that's a sour. ...

whatcha doing on february 4th? want a suggestion of what do do? attend the ninkasi brewing launch and tap takeover at portland craft ? that's where i'll be! TAP TAKEOVER ALERT! On Monday February 4th, 2013 up to 7 of our taps will be taken over by Ninkasi Brewing in honour of Ninkasi’s entrance into the BC market. That night we will be featuring: 1) Total Domination IPA – CONFIRMED! 2) Tricerahops Double IPA – CONFIRMED! 3) Believer Double Red Ale – CONFIRMED! 4) Oatis Oatmeal Stout – CONFIRMED! With possibly three more to be announced in the coming weeks. We will also have a some door prizes and other fun stuff going on thanks to their agency Copper & Theory . Not a bad way to shake off that Superbowl hangover!

two upcoming long table dinners hosted by beer thirst: Friday Feb 24th: Anderson Valley Long Table Dinner and Tap Takeover $40 This dinner will have 5 courses with 5 beers paired from the brewery. Also, Trey White, owner of Anderson Valley, will be joining us at the Pumphouse Pub for this event, and he will be hosting and pouring beers for the Anderson Valley Tap Takeover!
