Our journey wouldn't have been the same if it wasn't for the friends we've made in Vancouver who share our passion for local food and craft beer. We can still recall the day back in October of 2012 when we first introduced our concept to Vancouver and how welcoming everyone was. November 2013, our dream became a reality when we opened our doors and raised a toast to our new home. Thank you for your continued support and for sharing our passion with us! As we turn two, a few highlights we would like to toast to are: 2014 Voted "Best New Restaurant" in the Georgia Straight Best of Vancouver 2014 received our Level 2 Certification for LEAF (Leaders in Environmentally Accountable Foodservice) 2014 Our beer operations are 100%green energy powered by bullfrogpower 2015 1st place for "Best Craft Beer" Selection - 2015 Annual Best Of The City Dining, Westender We can't wait to see what the next year will bring - cheers to you! OCEAN WISE November is Ocean Wise Month but we love what they do so much that we celebrate it all year long! Ocean Wise is a conservation program through the Vancouver Aquarium that was created to educate and empower consumers about the issues surrounding sustainable seafood. Check out our website  for more info on our ongoing sustainability and charity initiatives.   YELLOW DOG SHAKE A PAW In 2014, after 3 months of being open, Yellow Dog Brewing took home the "Best in Show" prize for their Shake A Paw Brown Smoked Porter and made quite the name for themselves in the craft beer community. Owned by Mike and Melinda Coghill along with their head Brewmaster Liam Murphy, Yellow Dog Brewing has become a local landmark in Port Moody and has set the tone for other breweries opening on Murry Street. For many that might not know, Liam Murphy used to work very closely with Brewmaster Graham With from Parallel 49 Brewing. It's been said all the secrets Liam might know about brewing great beer can be traced back to the good old days when Graham trained Liam on what it takes to brew great beer. To learn more about the brewery, enjoy great beer and great food, join us on Tuesday, November 24 for our Yellow Dog Brewmaster's Dinner. Limited tickets available here.
